Siding Repair That Replaces Broken Pieces and Stops the Leak Behind Them

Fixing Storm-Torn and Worn Walls Across the Gulf Coast

Our siding repair service fixes cracked, loose, buckled or missing siding without redoing the whole wall. We replace only the broken vinyl panels or fiber cement planks. Then we look for the cause, such as tight nails or a leaking flashing. Fixing the cause helps keep the same spot from failing again.

Our main storefront is in Pensacola. We repair siding for homes in Milton, Destin and Gulf Breeze. Our team also covers the rest of Northwest Florida and Coastal Alabama. We take on one cracked panel or a whole storm-torn wall.

Got a cracked panel or siding that blew loose? Call us or send a request for a free repair consultation. We will tell you what we find and how we plan to fix it.

How We Fix Damaged Siding Without Tearing Off the Wall

Vinyl siding hooks together row by row. We use a zip tool to unhook the row above a damaged panel. The old nails come out, the new panel locks in, and the top row snaps back. On the Gulf Coast, a siding fix also covers house wrap left bare by storm wind.

What a Careful Siding Fix Does for the Wall Behind It

Panels That Can Move Without Buckling

Vinyl grows and shrinks as it heats and cools. Buckled or wavy vinyl can come from nails driven in too tight. We reset those nails in the center of each slot, leaving a small gap. That lets the panel slide as the day warms up and cools down.

Finding the Water Source First

A stained or swollen piece of siding can mean water is getting in above it. We trace the stain up to its source, such as a roof-to-wall joint with no kickout. Fixing that flashing stops a leak that a new panel alone would only hide. As a roofing and siding contractor, we can fix the roof flashing and the siding.

Sealing Cut Edges and Touching Up Color

Cut fiber cement edges get sealed and painted with a 100% acrylic topcoat after a repair. Factory-colored planks get the maker's touch-up paint instead.

Serving Northwest Florida & Coastal Alabama

We work from our Pensacola and Robertsdale locations and serve homes and businesses across the Gulf Coast.

Cracked, Buckled, Melted and Missing Siding We Repair

We repair vinyl and fiber cement on homes, from one panel to a full wall section. Cracks and holes come from flying debris and hard bumps. Warped or melted vinyl can come from sunlight reflected off a nearby window. Failed caulk at fiber cement joints can let water swell the plank edges.

The fix depends on the cause. For window glare, a new panel will warp again unless the reflected light is blocked. A screen, shade or shrub in the light path can block it. After a storm, we patch any bare house wrap before new pieces go on.

Answers About Fixing Cracked, Loose and Blown-Off Siding

Can you replace just one piece of vinyl siding?

Yes, one damaged panel can come out without disturbing the rest of the wall. Each row hooks onto the one below, so only the row above gets lifted. The new panel needs to match the profile of your siding.

Should vinyl siding seams be caulked?

No, vinyl should not be caulked where panels overlap or meet corner posts and J-trim. Vinyl has to move as it heats and cools. Caulk in those spots can pin the panel in place.

Will a repaired siding panel match the rest of my house?

It may not match exactly, since older siding fades in the sun. We look for the closest color and profile still made.

How soon should siding be fixed after a hurricane?

Fix it as soon as it is safe, before the next rain. Once siding is gone, only the house wrap protects the wall. Torn or bare wrap lets water reach the wood behind it.

What does a siding repair contractor do about loose fiber cement planks?

We fasten loose fiber cement planks back down. Extra face nails can hold a plank that has pulled away. Small clips called pin backs can close gaps or stop rattling, though they add no strength.
