Track Loader Rental for Grading, Clearing and Moving Dirt

Earthmoving Power for Lots and Acreage Across Northeast Georgia

Track loader rental fits jobs with a lot of dirt to push, lift and carry. A track loader is a ride-in loader on tracks, so you sit in the cab and drive it. Most run on rubber tracks, with the bucket on two lift arms in front of the cab. It spreads fill, cuts down high spots, clears brush and loads material. Tracks grip better than tires on soft or uneven ground.

We are based in Elberton and rent to customers in Washington, Lincolnton and Tignall. Our rentals reach across Northeast Georgia. Weather Tech Roofing is an American Rental Association member, number 205436.

Call us for track loader rates and open dates. Our hours run weekdays plus Saturday mornings.

What's Included

Jobs a Track Loader Handles on a Big Site

A track loader moves dirt from where you have too much to where you need it. The bucket cuts down humps, fills low spots and back drags to smooth the top. Back dragging means pulling the bucket backward across the dirt. In Northeast Georgia, a loader is a common pick for shaping a lot or farm road.

Why a Compact Track Loader Rental Works on Soft Ground

More Grip in Mud and Loose Fill

Tracks spread the machine's weight over a larger area than tires. That lower ground pressure helps the loader stay on top of mud and loose fill. It also pushes and pulls harder when the footing is slick. For tight yards, Weather Tech Roofing also rents a mini track loader.

Belt On, Bucket Low

Buckle the seat belt and lower the restraint bar before you start. Carry loads with the bucket low, and keep bystanders away from the work area. Only climb out with the bucket flat on the ground.

Travel Straight Up and Down Slopes

Never drive across a slope with a loader. Go straight up or down with the heavy end pointed uphill.

Pads, Pastures and Long Driveways Built for Loader Work

Landowners rent a track loader to clear a pasture edge or push brush into piles. Homeowners use one to bring in fill and rough grade a yard before seed or sod. Small builders shape a pad for a shed, barn or shop. Rough grading sets the general shape, and fine grading smooths the top for planting.

Big areas mean many bucket trips. Plan where the dirt comes from and where it goes. Stage fill piles close to the low spots to cut down on travel. Set a few stakes to show the finished height. Flag wells, buried tanks and private lines before you start.

  • A pasture edge or fence row grown up in brush
  • A gravel driveway or farm road that needs reshaping
  • A shed or barn pad that needs fill and leveling
  • A new-build yard with ruts, low spots and leftover piles

Is a track loader a good swap for a skid steer rental?

Yes, for most dirt and yard work a track loader does the same jobs. It uses the same style of lift arms and takes most of the same attachments. Tracks grip better in mud and on slopes, while tires last longer on pavement.

Can I drive a track loader on my paved driveway?

Yes, but keep trips on pavement short. Tracks wear quickly on hard, rough surfaces. Avoid sharp turns on fresh asphalt or stamped concrete.

When do I need a full track loader instead of a mini?

Choose the full-size loader for lots of dirt or a big area to grade. You ride in a cab, and the bucket carries more on each trip. A mini track loader fits tight yards and gates but moves less each pass.

What attachments can a track loader use?

Most track loaders take buckets, pallet forks, augers and grapples on a quick-attach plate. Check that each tool is rated for the loader's lift capacity.

Do I need to call 811 before grading with a loader?

Yes, Georgia 811 counts grading as digging that needs utility marking. Contact them at least three business days before you start. The marking is free.
